Flower Compass - North Red

Inspired by medieval mythology and symbolism, the Flower Compass rug draws from motifs such as the Compass Rose, representing spiritual direction and discovery, and the snail, symbolising personal strength and resilience. The circular design, reminiscent of medieval wreaths and garlands, suggests movement and adaptability.
 
The design reflects the mutual appreciation for nature, mysticism, and craftsmanship. The rug's intricate floral patterns, created from entirely unique imagined blooms, evoke the magic of medieval gardens. Drawing colour inspiration from medieval tapestries and stained glass, the Flower Compass features a bold palette of reds, greens, blues, and golden yellows. These hues are derived from historical dyeing methods, such as turmeric and saffron for yellow, malachite for green, and azure for blue, giving the rug an authentic connection to its medieval roots.
